Comox Valley Railway Modellers
Current Club President's E-Mail: Dwight Kayto
With approx 45 members of all scales, ages and genders.
We do not have a club layout but we meet one Saturday morning a month Sept-June. We usually have a
presentation, show and tell, survey, discussion point or something specific for each meeting.

During the summer months we have less formal coffee get togethers.

We have also try to have a main activity for each winter season. In the past we did a kit challenge
like the staff of Model railroad magazine did, even using the same kit.

Last winter (2021-22) we had a program we called 'let's get modelling'.
Modellers could create whatever they wanted in a space up to 288 sq.
inches. (2 sq ft) of any shape.

Each participant got their name entered in a draw for a $25 cash prize.

We also have a facebook page with about 130 members, many on the island and some from more distant places.

ReNegauge Model Railroad Club
Maple Ridge, BC
E-Mail: Tom Carr Phone: 604-788-9710 No club layout, we operate on members' layouts.

Because we meet in members' home all members must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

We are primarily N-Scale, but several members also model in HO, On3 and G scales.
All member layouts are Digitrax DCC. We meet periodically for "train nights" and work
parties in members' homes, and also informally every couple of weeks at a local Starbuck's
for a weekday afternoon coffee session. The club holds an annual "March Challenge" among members,
designed to get everyone thinking about trains, get us doing something train related during the
late winter/early spring, and sharing our photos with fellow members.
